Ava's surgery went well. The doctor was able to remove the tumor but there was a surprise. It grew over 50% in a week and a half.
The MRI also showed lesions in the spine. There was one big spot, three little ones and lots of spotted markings that don't belong in spinal fluid.
We aren't sure what this means. We have to wait for pathology results to find out exactly what was removed and go from there. All we know is this is not good news.
