What a wonderful day!
We took the Ava and Myla to a lunch event my Grandma was having to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House. I believe the ladies raised about $600. The RMH really was such a blessing to us while Ava was in the hospital and the organization is run off donations so we were very honored they raised money to donate in Ava's name. They were able to meet some very nice women and eat lots of cookies so they had a great time!
Then on the way home we got a call confirming our travel dates to Disney World. We contacted Make-a-Wish and they visited with Ava over the weekend so needless to say we were so happy to hear this news! Again, another GREAT organization that does so much to help families going through something like this. When they met Ava they brought her a barbie and pizza. They sure know the way to her heart!
Since we had our dates confirmed we were finally able to book Ava's birthday party at Zoomerang. We wanted to be able to invite everyone in the community that has reached out to us during this time and that meant renting out the whole building. We were prepared to do this so imagine our surprise when the owner called me a few hours after booking to say he wanted to do the party for FREE!! It brought tears to my eyes that he offered that to our family.
March is going to be a very busy month for us with our trips and Ava's party but we are feeling very blessed right now and continue to feel God's love and support. Thank you for showing us how much you care and continuing to pray for Ava and her family.
